Family dentistry questions
Do you see kids, and from what age?
Yes, we see children. Early visits are gentle and are really about helping your child feel comfortable and spotting anything small before it grows. Bring them along with you and we'll take it from there.
How often should we come in?
For most people a check-up and clean every six months works well, but it can be more or less often depending on your teeth and gums. We'll suggest a timing that fits you rather than a one-size-fits-all rule.
Do you take my health fund?
We work with the major funds, including nib, HCF, Westfund and Latrobe Health. If you're with another fund, you can usually still claim, and we're happy to check what your cover includes before you commit. Bring your card to your visit.
Can the whole family book together?
Yes. We see the whole family, and we can often book several family members on the same day so you're not making trips back and forth. Just let us know who's coming when you book.
My child is nervous, can you help?
Yes. We take it slowly with kids and explain things in a way that makes sense to them. The aim of an early visit is simply for your child to feel okay in the chair. Let us know when you book and we'll keep it relaxed.
