Tooth Extractions
Gentle removal of a tooth that can't be saved, with sedation options and a clear plan to fill the gap afterwards.
Is any of this you?
- You have a tooth past saving.
- You cannot bite on that side.
- You are dreading the needle.
- You do not know what fills the gap.
None of this fixes itself.

What to expect
Four steps. No surprises.
- Step 1 Try to save it first
We check whether the tooth can be kept with a filling, crown or root canal before recommending removal.
- Step 2 Plan your comfort
We numb the area fully, and offer sedation from light relaxation to deeper sleep for trickier teeth or nervous patients.
- Step 3 Gentle removal
We remove the tooth as gently as possible, often quickly, and give you clear aftercare.
- Step 4 Plan the gap
We talk through replacing the tooth with an implant, bridge or denture, so the gap doesn't cause problems later.
What our patients say
If you have issues around anxiety or have avoided the dentist for some time, Dr Danielle and her staff will work with you.
If anyone is ever looking for a dentist, stop looking because you found it!
Alex, at Kippa-Ring, is very professional. And his original quote was more than the actual cost. Can't get better than that.
If you are like me and hate the dentist, this place just might change your mind

Extraction questions
Will it hurt?
The area is fully numbed before we start, so you shouldn't feel pain during it, just some pressure. Afterwards there can be some soreness, managed with simple pain relief and the aftercare we give you. Sedation is available if you're anxious.
Can I be put to sleep for it?
Yes. We offer sedation options from light relaxation through to deeper sleep, matched to you and the difficulty of the tooth, so the day stays calm and comfortable.
What should I do about the gap?
It's worth planning, because the bone shrinks and teeth drift if a gap is left. Options include an implant, a bridge or a denture. We'll talk you through what suits the spot and your budget, ideally before the tooth comes out.
Can I be seen today if it's painful?
We keep room for urgent visits and aim to see painful cases the same day. Call 1800 833 844 as early as you can.
