Dr. Vuk Bortnik

Vuk grew up in Serbia before moving to Australia as a teenager. He completed a Bachelor of Dental Health Science and Master of Dentistry at Griffith University School of Dentistry and Medicine on the Gold Coast, where he received the Griffith Academic Excellence Award each year in recognition of his academic achievements.

Before pursuing dentistry, Vuk completed a degree in Biomedical Science and a Master of Medical Research, during which he wrote his thesis on head and neck cancers. This strong scientific foundation informs his comprehensive and evidence-based approach to dental care.

Vuk is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care with a focus on improving oral health and long-term outcomes. He has a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry and is passionate about helping patients achieve confident, natural-looking smiles.

Fluent in English, Serbian, and Croatian, Vuk values clear communication and strives to connect with patients from all backgrounds.

Outside of dentistry, Vuk enjoys photography, playing guitar, flying drones, and experimenting in the kitchen especially in pursuit of the perfect pizza dough.
